What is the geothermal heating?

Since thousands of years, many baths, glasshouses and other buildings use the geothermal energy, stored in the soil to heat. Such heating systems’  ruins could be found not far away from budapest, at the Aquincum Roman bath.

The heatpumps work quite similar to these baths, and utilize the energy, that is stored.
